Exilis Elite

The Exilis Elite is a non-invasive face and body contouring device designed to tighten skin while reducing fat and signs of fine lines and wrinkles.

It uses a combination of monopolar radio frequency (RF) energy, ultrasound to stimulate fat lipolysis (the breakdown of fat cells) and collagen remodeling (for skin tightening), alongside skin cooling, helping to contour the body and face.

Who is a Good Candidate for the Exilis Elite?

Exilis Elite can improve skin laxity and improve fine lines and wrinkles anywhere on the body. It is an especially effective, non-surgical treatment option for loose skin, lines and wrinkles around the eyes and neck.

Is there anyone who should not have Exilis Elite treatments?

Exilis Elite treatments cannot be performed if you are pregnant or nursing, have a defibrillator or pacemaker or have any metal implants (stents, hip or knee replacements, heart valves, etc.).

Do I have any restrictions post treatment?

No. There is no downtime associated with the procedure. In fact, for those undergoing body sculpting treatments, we advise light to moderate exercise after the treatments to enhance results.

How long do results last?

Studies have shown that patients who had Exilis treatments over two years ago have maintained their results. Aging and weight gain or loss can effect results. Some patients come in for a treatment or two every 11/2-2years because they like the result.

How does the operator select the treatment parameters?

The Exilis device is embedded with safety default parameters for each applicator. The parameters are gradually adjusted according to the tolerance of the patient. The RF power is adjusted to the optimal power needed to achieve an endpoint skin surface temperature of 104 F and 107.6 F (40-42oC) which is maintained for the recommended exposure time.

What facial conditions does the Exilis treat?

The Exilis is cleared by the FDA for treatment of facial wrinkles and rhytides. Due to enhanced generation of new collagen and tightening of existing collagen the Exilis can treat sagging skin, loose jowls, jaw line contouring, sagging skin under-chin (“turkey neck”), wrinkles and fine lines, and a general toning and lifting of the face.
