Dr. Nawara has practiced medicine as a specialist in Internal Medicine for the past 24 years. In her varied roles within the profession as a clinical instructor of medicine at Northwestern, a medical director of the Wrigley Company and Robert Morris University and as a private physician to many, she is diligent in her concerned, compassionate care of the individual patient that she sees. She values long term doctor-patient relationships and believes that this relationship is of critical importance in the care and medical treatment of her patients. Her interest in medicine began in her childhood growing up on the southwest side of Chicago with exposure to significant medical illness in her immediate family. This combined with a personal interest in biology and science, and a fascination over the wonder of the human body in health and in illness led her to her chosen profession.
